On December 7, 2023, the "EcoStart" Forum, hosted by the Student HUB of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, was the stage for a captivating and inspirational event, marking another significant step towards promoting, educating, informing, and encouraging a more ecologically sustainable environment.

The forum served as a melting pot for enthusiasts in ecology and sustainable business, bringing together various speakers from the event's agenda, including experts in ecology and representatives from organizations such as ODA, UNDP, ILO, e-Circular among others. The audience was enthralled by interactive presentations and workshops, offering insights, successes, and ongoing opportunities in this evolving field.

One of the pivotal moments of the event was the active participation of the Toreco team. The company shared its experience in the field of ecology and sustainability, hosting an interactive exhibition highlighting innovations such as the plastic bottle collection device, perforated used cardboard, Sortiboxand more.

Toreco underscored its commitment to a greener future by organizing a raffle that promoted sustainability and provided information and education about plastic bottle collection using their plastic bottle collection device. Toreco generously awarded substantial prizes worth 1000 MDL each to 3 randomly selected winners from this raffle.

Moreover, there was a competition for innovative and eco-friendly student ideas. Evaluation of the proposed projects and ideas emphasized sustainability, feasibility, impact, and creativity, rewarding valuable prizes to each member of the 5 participating teams from the EcoStart Forum organizers.

Beyond the interactive and educational aspect of the event, the Forum organizers arranged an invigorating coffee break, healthy snacks, followed by an eco-gourmet lunch catering to all tastes. These moments provided an excellent platform for networking and idea exchange among participants, fostering an environment conducive to collaboration and new initiatives.
