Hygiene-the most important aspect when using the toilet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The University of Leeds study, shows through photographs taken at high speed what happens when a toilet is flushed with the lid raised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The answer to the question: why should you always close the lid? It's obvious!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The explosion, or rather the real fireworks show of twins and bacteria, was captured on camera showing how the particles are spread when the lid is lifted.<\/p>\n\n\n

Important! <\/strong>The lid should be closed before drawing water, so that splashes from water contaminated with bacteria do not spread to other surfaces, such as tiles: clothes or other things around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, by keeping the lid open you can prevent small unpleasant accidents with objects falling into the water!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gesture of closing the lid of the toilet bowl before drawing water is an extremely important aspect of the hygiene chapter!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to keep toilet hygiene under control at home, on vacation, at a local or at a public toilet, Toreco advises and encourages everyone to perform a simple three-step routine:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Close the lid before drawing water to prevent the spread of germs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) Be sure to use a toilet cleaners<\/a><\/strong> that remove limescale, which destroy germs, as well as disinfection to maintain final hygiene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Wear gloves <\/a><\/strong>while cleaning for extra protection and wash your hands<\/a><\/strong> at the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
